DayCOR Registry – data collection for the day hospital sector

Day Hospitals Australia has had several discussions with Dr Ken Sleeman, Chairman and Clinical Director of the DayCOR Registry.

The acronym, DayCOR Registry, stands for Day care anaesthetic outcomes recording registry and involves distribution of a short survey 24 hours post discharge and a cost of 52 cents per survey which is payable by the hospital.

Participation in this relevant data collection will be important to individual day hospitals and the day hospital sector going forward. This information will provide valuable evidence of day hospital care.

Dr Sleeman contributed to the panel discussion on Preadmission Processes on the first day of the Conference. Delegates will be able to revisit this presentation by following the link distributed last week to view conference presentations. If you did not attend the conference you are still able to register to view the Conference program in full. Click here for more information.
