This online workshop will allow participants to access the course anywhere, at any time, and at their own pace. The move to an online course will also give more people access to the education, who may have never been able to attend face-to-face meetings – given their regional/remote location, or their unique personal situation.
This foundation program serves as an introduction to the reprocessing of flexible endoscopes incorporating infection control, structure and function, water filtration and workplace health and safety, and is identical to the course that is offered face-to-face around the country each year.
These workshops are aimed at nurses, CSSD technicians and assistants involved with the reprocessing of flexible endoscopes. This program was revised in 2016 in accordance with current standards including AS/NZ4187:2014, updated guidelines and manufacturer’s instructions. These modules have been recorded by facilitators who are knowledgeable in this field.
