Butterfly provides online hospital management software and services for public and private hospitals and day clinics. It uses a “software as a service” (SaaS) business model, where software is hosted at data centres in the cloud in Australia.
This allows the provision of services across large fragmented hospital departments, surgeons’ rooms, materials supply, health funds and other related entities. Butterfly will be releasing new features regularly. Additions and extensions to functionality are developed in response to the needs of hospitals in Australia and international markets.
Butterfly’s main focus is to improve workflow and efficiencies in the operating theatre and closing the gap between business and clinical data.
