Supported study in Health Service Management

The Australian Institute of Health Service Management (AIHSM) at the University of Tasmania (UTAS) has secured 200 Commonwealth Supported Places to offer the Graduate of Health Service Management (Safety & Quality) course online commencing November 2022. This course develops knowledge, analysis skills and practical competencies through using the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and National Model Clinical Governance Framework as the focus for study.

The underlying theories and models, purpose, evidence for, application and systems to review each of the standards will be investigated. Students will also get opportunities to engage with Australian experts and participate in industry case studies and analysis.

The Commonwealth Supported Places are available for students enrolling in the 7-week intensive spring school program from 1 November– 26 December 2022.  Students will fast track their studies and complete two units during 7 weeks.

The Graduate Certificate in Health Service Management (Safety and Quality) is offered on a part-time basis and is delivered fully online, with optional half-day masterclasses (2-3 per semester) which will be delivered on campus in Sydney. Students will have the option to participate via videoconference.
