Recognising and responding to deterioration in a person’s mental state

ACSQHC are running a two part webinar series in May, providing practical approaches to recognising and responding to deterioration in a person’s mental state.

The first webinar on 11 May will explore the Commission’s approach and resources to support the implementation of actions in the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, as well as a carer’s perspective, and a case study on using the Escalation Mapping Template.

The second webinar on 18 May will showcase innovative and practical approaches to recognising and responding to deterioration in a person’s mental state, with presentations from Clinical Nurse Consultants at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, and Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
