The Department of Health has undertaken the annual review and published the 2021 private hospital second-tier category list of all private hospitals grouped by second-tier hospital category. The list is used by insurers to calculate their second-tier rates to apply from 1 September 2021.
This list categorises all private hospitals and does not mean all the hospitals in the list are second-tier eligible hospitals.
